In addition to differential pressure, the MF-PFTT series transmitter also measures air velocities in combination with the MFS self-averaging flow sensors. Complementing its brother MF-PFT, the MF-PFTT has a temperature input for active temperature compensation. This is a very useful addition, especially with process air that varies a lot in temperature. This input is passive (Pt-100/1000) or active (0…10 Volt or 4…20 mA). Furthermore, this transmitter can also control the Micatrone purge unit PU3. One analog output is used for this. With this purge unit it is possible to measure air velocity / air flow in dusty or condensed conditions. In addition to analog outputs, this series also has a built-in PI controller, with which a fan can be directly controlled. Due to its high accuracy and stability, the MF-PFTT is ideal for use in laboratories, hospitals and cleanrooms. With the four keys on the front panel it is possible to access all functions, settings and scaling of the output signal. Optionally available with auto-zero and Modbus RTU output.
