The Lufft WS400-UMB is a product from the "WS" compact weather station family. The compact WS weather stations are intelligent, digital sensors for various meteorological applications. The WS400-UMB has a forced-ventilated weather cabin and measures air temperature, relative humidity, precipitation intensity, precipitation type, precipitation amount and air pressure. The intelligent rain gauge 'sees' by means of a 24 GHz Doppler radar sensor whether it is raining or snowing. This rain gauge is maintenance-free and is heated around freezing point. Optionally, one external temperature sensor can be connected. As standard, the WS weather stations have a digital output with, among other things, Modbus RTU.
