The Dwyer CDTA series carbon dioxide meter combines three measurements in one compact housing. The CDTA measures CO2, humidity and temperature, but can also be used as a set point generator. Communication with a GBS or PLC is via Modbus®, or BACnet, which can be chosen in the field. To facilitate installation, the RS485 address can be set using dip switches. The CDTA uses a non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor to measure the carbon dioxide. This technology can also be used in installations that are used 24 hours a day. This is a big advantage compared to many other CO2 sensors. Another unique advantage is that the CO2 sensor in the field can be calibrated, if it deviates too much over time and the temperature and humidity sensor is replaceable.
